Bollywood’s newly released movie Rustom is Akshay Kumar’s mystery thriller film which is written by Vipul.K Rawal and directed by Tinu Suresh Desai. Rustom is expected to be more thriller and romantic movie of Akshay’s in comparison to his previous thriller films Special 26, Baby, Airlift. The tag line of the movie Rustom states “Three shots which shocked the world”.

Rustom is based on the real life incidents of a Navy Officer K.M.Nanavati who tried to murder his beautiful English wife Sylva’s lover Prem Ahuja and then he surrendered and confessed to the police. He was finally pardoned in the year 1962 by the court. Nanavati case was famous Indian court case in the year 1959 of the state of Maharashtra. Akshay is playing  the role of Navy officer with the name Rustom Pavri. Along with actresses Illeana D’cruz and Esha Gupta with Arjan Bajwa as male co-star also playing the role in Rustom .
